In a shocking turn of events, Denise Richards, the popular Bravo star, has accused her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, of multiple instances of domestic violence. The allegations, which span over several years, have led to a legal response in 2025.

**Escalating Abuse**

Throughout their marriage (2018–2025), Richards claims that Phypers repeatedly abused her physically and verbally. Alarming incidents include Phypers *violently choking her*, *slapping her face and head*, *aggressively slamming her head into a bathroom towel rack*, and *squeezing her head and arms tightly* on numerous occasions.

One particularly distressing incident occurred when Richards suggested Phypers not accompany her on a work trip. In response, Phypers allegedly grabbed her by her hair, slammed her into the ground, and screamed in anger about not canceling his flight.

Richards also claims that Phypers threatened to *kill her and himself* if she reported him to authorities and regularly threatened to "break my jaw."

**Visible Injuries and Fear**

The documents cite physical injuries including a black eye from one assault and arm bruises visible in later photos, which Richards claims are the result of abuse she forgot to cover. Richards expressed fear in reporting the abuse earlier due to Phypers' threats against both her and himself.

**Legal Action**

On July 16, 2025, Richards was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Aaron Phypers. The order requires Phypers to stay 100 yards away from Richards and her property. A court hearing is scheduled for August 8, 2025, when the temporary restraining order will expire and the couple will address the case further.

Concurrently, Phypers filed for divorce earlier in July 2025, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split. Court documents submitted by Richards include graphic descriptions of the abuse, photos of injuries, and claims that Phypers hacked into her laptop and phone.

**Denials and Additional Allegations**

In response, Aaron Phypers has publicly denied all abuse allegations, calling them *"completely false and deeply hurtful,"* and stating he has always approached their marriage with *"love, patience, and respect."* Richards also alleges that Phypers owns at least eight unregistered guns, raising concerns related to the case.

The situation remains legally active with potential for further developments at the upcoming court date. Richards has also claimed that Phypers owns multiple bulletproof vests, adding another layer of complexity to the case.
