A significant traffic accident took place in Hannover-Bothfeld at around 20:15 on Sunday evening. The incident involved a car colliding with a power distribution box on Langenforther Straße, causing severe damage to the box.

The police have initiated an investigation into the accident, with the Traffic Accident Investigation Department (Verkehrsunfalldienst) leading the inquiry. The fire department, however, has stated that they cannot provide information on the cause of the accident or the extent of the damage.

As a result of the damaged power distribution box, a power outage has affected the Bothfeld district.
