Chillin' on the Nuup Kangerlua Fjord: King Frederik X and Greenland's Premier's Fish 'n' Chill Sesh

Fishing excursion with the Prime Minister of Greenland. - A user plans to fish with Greenland's Prime Minister.
Greenland might have semi-autonomous status, but it's still part of the glorious God save the Queen land. Donald Trump's been banging on about taking charge of the island, but Danish King Frederik X (56) and Greenland's Premier Jens-Frederik Nielsen (33) couldn't care less. They're too busy casting lines and kicking back on a boat, perhaps sending a clear message to old Donnie.
Nielsen paid a state visit to the motherland, Denmark, not too long ago. The goal? To beef up the bond and get closer. What could be more meaningful, even with some serious vibes, than a fishing trip with a buddy?
Reels, Brews, and Feasts
The king was initially set to set sail with ol' Nielsen to Greenland's capital, Nuuk, on April 28, but Mother Nature threw a wrench in the works, causing the voyage to be rescheduled to today, April 29.
Photos from the palace's Instagram account revealed the itinerary looks like a quickie, but it's deep sea fetish all the way. The snaps show the king and the prime minister on a boat, frolicking in the Nuup Kangerlua fjord post-arrival. The day started with some fishing action, despite the calm weather, and a lunch together on board.
According to the palace, the rest of the day included a coffee sesh where the king would mingle with locals, a hike through the countryside, followed by a dinner hosted by Nielsen. Tomorrow, they're headed to the University of Greenland. Sadly, a trip to a military station in the north has been axed.

- Perhaps in a bid to show solidarity and independence, King Frederik X and Greenland's Premier Jens-Frederik Nielsen cast lines and spent time on a boat, away from the political noise, along Greenland's Nuup Kangerlua fjord.
