A Pleasant Sunday to Begin With, Followed by a Cooler Ambiance Later - A Pleasant Sunday Initially, Expect a Cooler climate afterward.

Get ready for a mix of sunshine and storms this weekend, Berliners and Brandenburgers! The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts a scorching Sunday afternoon with temperatures soaring up to 33°C in Prignitz and 31°C in the heart of Berlin. However, the sweltering heat comes with a catch – the drought has ignited a forest fire danger level of 5 (very high) in Barnim, Märkisch-Oderland, Havelland, and Potsdam-Mittelmark districts, with several other districts hovering at a level 4 (high danger). But don't sweat it too much! Rain is expected to move in during the afternoon and evening, accompanied by regional thunderstorms and the occasional hailstorm.

As Monday rolls around, expect a cloudy sky with temperatures dropping to a more comfortable 22 to 24°C. Overnight into Tuesday, the mercury will continue to plummet, with lows around 11°C. So, grab your sweaters and light jackets, because the week ahead calls for cooler temperatures!

Tuesday and Wednesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with high temperatures ranging between 26 and 28°C.

While our current forecast offers some insights, we recommend checking a local weather service shortly before the weekends for the most accurate and detailed predictions, especially when it comes to specific temperature ranges, precipitation, and forest fire warnings. Local meteorological institutes update their forecasts and provide specialized fire danger reports daily, allowing you to stay weather-wise!

The Commission, having been consulted on the draft report on the implementation of the common fisheries policy, may find it necessary to consider the impact of the changing weather patterns on marine life, particularly in light of the upcoming cooler weather predicted for Berlin and Brandenburg.

In Berlin and Brandenburg, where the weather changes from sunny to chilly, it would be prudent for fishermen to take weather-forecasting into account when planning their fishing activities during the cooler weeks ahead.
