A-list actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence are set to headline Martin Scorsese's supernatural thriller film, titled 'What Happens At Night'.
In an exciting turn of events, Hollywood powerhouses Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are joining forces once more for an upcoming movie. The title of the film has yet to be revealed, but it is known that the production is an adaptation of Peter Cameron's novel, 'What Happens at Night.'
Jennifer Lawrence will also star in the movie, marking her first onscreen collaboration with Scorsese as director. The couple's characters are set to travel to Europe and stay in a cavernous, fading European hotel filled with eccentric characters.
Patrick Marber has written the screenplay for the film, and Apple Original Films is in talks to finance and produce the project with Studiocanal. Scorsese is currently balancing several features in development, including a Hawaii-set crime drama that would star Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.
Meanwhile, Scorsese is also a producer on Lawrence's upcoming feature, Die, My Love, which will see her on the big screen before the European-set drama. DiCaprio, on the other hand, can next be seen in Paul Thomas Anderson's movie, One Battle After Another.
The specific release date for the movie is not yet announced, but it is expected to hit theatres by the award season at the end of 2027. This marks DiCaprio's second collaboration with Scorsese following their work on the Apple feature, Killers of the Flower Moon.
As the production gears up, fans of both DiCaprio and Lawrence are eagerly awaiting more details about the story, characters, and setting of the movie. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
