A guide on finishing Blaidd's mission within Elden Ring
In the expansive world of Elden Ring, the quest of Blaidd, the Royal Knight of the Darkmoon, is one that leads players through a series of intricate events and challenging battles. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you navigate Blaidd's questline.
Meeting Blaidd
Your journey begins at the Mistwood Ruins in West Limgrave. Use the Finger Snap gesture when you hear a howl, and Blaidd will jump down, allowing you to speak with him.
Exploring Siofra River
Later, head to the underground Siofra River area by using the Siofra River Well lift near Mistwood. Here, you'll find Blaidd near the Hallowhorn Grounds, where he seeks a way into Nokron.
Assisting Blaidd
Summon Blaidd for the battle against Bloodhound Knight Darriwil at the Forlorn Hound Evergaol. Defeating Darriwil will reward you with a Somber Smithing Stone (2). Darriwil is a key figure in Blaidd’s questline, as he is involved in this fight.
Progressing through Ranni's Questline
After significant portions of Blaidd’s questline—including the Radahn festival and events in Ranni's Rise area—Blaidd becomes hostile and must be defeated. Killing Blaidd drops his armor set, which you can then collect.
Acquiring Blaidd's Armor Set and Greatsword
To acquire Blaidd's armor set and his greatsword, the player must progress through all the locations mentioned and complete every step of Ranni's questline. Return to Ranni's Rise to collect Blaidd's armor set and his greatsword after completing Ranni's quest and obtaining the Dark Moon Greatsword from her.
