In an exciting turn of events, Hollywood stars Channing Tatum and Charlize Theron are set to collaborate for the first time in a film titled "Dance Parents". The movie, currently in early development, is a family comedy directed by Jonathan Levine.
While the plot of "Dance Parents" remains a mystery, the title suggests it could delve into the world of young dancers and their ambitious parents. The film is being written by Meghan Malloy.
Tatum will also be producing the film through his company, Free Association, and Theron through her company, Denver and Delilah. Jonathan Levine, known for his work on films like "50/50" and "The Night Before", is set to produce and direct the project.

The film is set for US release on October 10 and Germany on November 27.
In "Roofman", Tatum's character falls in love with a divorced mother Leigh, played by Kirsten Dunst, but his double life threatens to unravel.
As for Theron, she is currently starring in the Netflix action film "The Old Guard" sequel, released in July, and reprising her role as Andy (Andromache of Scythia). She is also a co-producer of the film.
Theron is also set to star in Christopher Nolan's film "The Odyssey" in July 2026, where she will play the sorceress Circe.
