The charming village of Klocksdorf welcomed back the Pier Festival after a two-year hiatus, transforming the serene Klocksdorf Lake into a vibrant hub of community spirit and entertainment.

Organised by the Klocksdorf Cultural Association, the sixth edition of the Pier Festival was a celebration of the community's connection to the lake. The event featured a series of nautical-themed performances, live music, and water-based activities, providing a day of fun for all ages.

Local actor Bastian Schulz took on the role of Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, adding a touch of mythology to the festivities. Children's games, a cocktail bar, and a unique promotion for the village and the region were also part of the attractions.

Doreen Thorandt, the main organiser, expressed her satisfaction with the event, stating that the weather was playing in their favour. She also mentioned that a calendar for the year 2026, featuring beautiful shots of the lake, is available.

The "Active for Klocksdorf" association, which organised the festival, has its own liqueur, Klocksdorf Golden Cherry, and its own Klocksdorf water. Josefin Garling, a helper from the association, revealed an interesting concoction she prepared for the festival - a mix of apple juice, cola, curry ketchup, and mustard.

Whether there will be another Pier Festival next year remains open due to the amount of work and help required. However, the success of this year's event has left the community eager for more.
