Mayor of Almaty, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, has announced the upcoming opening of a new Social Services Center on Dostyk Avenue, scheduled for October 12, 2023. The center is being constructed as a comfortable, unified location for residents to access social services.
The Social Services Center will offer a "one-stop shop" system, allowing citizens to access 42 state services and 7 private services under one roof. This system aims to streamline the process of accessing various services, making it more efficient for the citizens of Almaty.
Mayor Sagintayev has emphasized the use of high-quality local finishing materials and interior items in the Social Services Center. The ground floor will house service areas for specialists from various departments, including social welfare, housing policy, employment center, state corporation for citizens, migration police, EPF, social insurance fund, and medical-social expertise.
The upper floors of the building will accommodate the respective departments. The exact nature of the services offered, both state and private, has not been specified yet.
