A Raw Take on Kassel's Chilling Axe Murder Trial

Man Confesses to Axe Killing in Kassel (age 29) - A 29-year-old individual admits to committing axe homicide in Kassel.

Homie goes on trial, confessing to offing his roommate with an axe in Kassel's court. The beleaguered Bulgarian, aged 29, stands accused of taking the ole' hatchet job on the homeless, 26-year-old victim, who was snoring sweet dreams in mid-June '24. Sharing the same pad at the time, the victim met his grisly end, allegedly from a brutal strike from the defendant's axe.

Allegations fly, with the prosecution painting our boy as no better than a cold-blooded killer. The P.O. claims he took the snoozing victim's life in cold blood, with an axe strike to the head while the guy was caught napping. Later, our guy chopped the body into pieces and hid them near the Hercules monument and at the former site of the Federal Garden Show (Buga) in Fulda. After the crime, he skipped town, landing in Kassel six weeks later, where he was nabbed by the locals.

What could've driven him to such a heinous act? The fuzz suspects he thought his partner was ballin' with the victim. The defendant's history of green-eyed jealousy might have played a part.

Defendant: "On drugs, drunk off my ass"

But the defendant had his own story—a steamy one involving a heated argument leading up to the crime. He said it wasn't the 7th, but rather the morning of the 8th when he lost it, and the victim was wide awake, not snoozing like they thought.

In his twisted account, he claimed he had been floored by the prospect of his roommate offing him with a knife, so he grabbed the axe to ward him off. Under the influence of various drugs like cannabis and fentanyl, he struck the victim twice.

Lamenting the Deed

Shortly after the crime, our guy hit the local pizzeria for some comfort food, then returned to the scene of the crime to claim his trophy. Come the night of the 8th-9th, he made his move, carting the corpse to Buga grounds. Fearing identification, he beheaded and dismembered the body, spreading the remains around the Hercules monument.

His lawyer expressed regret on behalf of their client. The defendant had been best buddies with the victim for years, even living together for a spell.

Adding Injury to Insult

Apart from the murder charge, our guy's also on the hook for causing serious bodily harm. In January '24, he stabbed another man with a knife and dealt him some heavy wounds, according to the prosecutor. The alleged motive? A skirmish over narcotics.
