Over 780 recruits are set to graduate this month, marking the beginning of their policing journey in Lower Saxony. They will embark on a three-year training program, kicking off their service in October.

The recruits will undergo an accredited bachelor's degree program at the Lower Saxony Police Academy. Information about the application process can be found at www.polizei-studium.de. Around 500 new recruits started their studies on September 1, with the next semester scheduled for March 1, 2026. Daniela Behrens, Minister for the Interior, Sport, and Digitalization, wished the students success and perseverance. Carsten Rose, Director of the Police Academy, advised them to prepare well and ask questions. Currently, over 3150 young police officers are studying at the academy.

With over 780 recruits set to graduate and begin their service, the Lower Saxony Police Academy continues to grow and strengthen its ranks. The academy, led by Director Carsten Rose, is committed to preparing the next generation of police officers for their crucial roles in society.
