'78 Vintage Rock Music with Historical Ties'
Let's Rock it Again: Nightingale's Unstoppable Return:
Forty-four blasted years, mate! But that ain't stopped ol' Klaus Auer from bringin' back his old band mates in Nightingale for a smokin' performance at the Krefeld live music venue "Kulturrampe" last June. Now the spirit's spirits are soaring once more, 'cause these Krefeld legends are about to rock the joint again on the 13th of June.
You heard it right! Head on over to Kulturrampe in the Großmarkt on Oppumer Straße at 7 PM. The Black Curtain Band'll warm up the crowd from 9 PM, formed way back in 2005 by musicians hailing from Duisburg and Krefeld's heaviest rock acts. Around 10 PM, Nightingale '78 takes the stage!
Now, these four Krefeld veterans couldn't keep themselves away from the glory after their killer comeback gig last year. They swiftly agreed that one night wasn't enough. These lads started jammin' together back in '78, dishing out tunes together until the early 80s. Time'd moved on, but careers, families, and homes didn't steal their passion. No sir, it was high time they got this show back on the road.
Spurred on by the success of their 2022 reunion, Nightingale '78 hit the studio, refining old classics and penning new anthems to join their catalog. Today, the band's five-decade discography is accessible through 150 streaming platforms across the globe, with YouTube and Instagram keeping their fans connected. They've even got a vinyl record project in the works!
Afore they were Nightingale, these Krefeld lads were already carving their names in the local rock scene. Thomas Stachelhaus and Rainer Kretschmann came from Stormy Pain, one of Krefeld's most respected bands. Klaus Auer and James Koopmann made waves with Cast Iron, even taking home the title of "Best Pop Group on the Rhine" in a Düsseldorf band contest back in 1977.
So, gather 'round, mates! Support your local music heroes, and witness history being made once again on the 13th of June at Kulturrampe!
What music will be playing at 10 PM on the 13th of June at Kulturrampe's Großmarkt on Oppumer Straße? Nightingale '78, the Krefeld legends who are once again rocking the joint, will be entertaining the crowd with their tunes from their five-decade discography.
