Get ready to hoop it up at the Enni-Sportpark-Rheinkamp in Moers on June 15th, as we welcome over 120 teams for the 31st NRW 3X3-Jubilee Tour!
After a successful stint as the host city for the 30th anniversary tour last year, organizers including Jens Köhler from the MTV basketball department and Andreas Bönger, chairman of the MTV, are at it again. This exciting streetball spectacle is not just a celebration for Moers' basketball enthusiasts, but a boon for the entire community as well.
More than 80 teams have already confirmed their participation, with the number expected to grow even more in the coming days, rain or shine! In case of inclement weather, organizers have multiple options, with two halls available at the Enni-Sportpark-Rheinkamp to accommodate all the action.
The 3x3 streetball variant, featuring teams of three, came into the Olympic spotlight during the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo. Over the past thirty years, this event has been a significant part of the NRW sports scene, with around 40,000 teams and over 160,000 athletes having played streetball in the NRW-3x3Tour alone.
