The tailwind of the State Garden Show will breathe new life into a neglected industrial area, which will soon house apartments for around 1,500 residents, a kindergarten, an event hall, and commercial spaces for approximately 500 jobs. The town's contribution to this expansion totals 89 million euros, with 53 million sourced through land sales and subsidies.
Wangen's residents can look forward to wide-ranging improvements, including the construction of new cycle paths, footpaths, and five bridges, as well as the development of a local park.
