The city of Bremen is set to host an exciting art exhibition titled "35th Matchday reloaded", which will run from October 19th to November 17th. The project, initiated by artists Tom Gefken and Oliver Voigt, along with Bremer SV board member Bastian Fritsch, brings together 29 local artists and organizations to explore the intriguing connection between football and art.

The exhibition, to be held at the Center for Art in the Tabakquartier (Hermann-Ritter-Straße 108 E, 28197 Bremen), will feature works from Werner Kuhrmann, Amerir Omerovic, Dominik Meitzler, Manfred Kirschner, Yoriko Seto, John Sempe, Ivo Kiefer, Paul Ole Janns, Simon Schadwinkel, Ralf Tekaat, Yohan Koo, Sihle Inensiko, Tobias Horoschko, Lisa Sinan Mrozinski, and Patricia Lambertus, among others.

The works in the exhibition will delve into various aspects of football, highlighting its strong social and aesthetic components, the pursuit of self-realization and excellence, and the sharing of passions and interests. The project also aims to shed light on how political and socially relevant themes can be made visible through both football and art.

In addition to showcasing the artists' works, the "35th Matchday" project also aims to foster a sense of community and reflect cultural diversity and societal realities. The exhibition will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm during the specified period.

Notably, the "35th Matchday" project was awarded a three-year studio scholarship from the city of Bremen, underscoring the city's commitment to supporting and promoting local artistic talent. This unique and thought-provoking exhibition promises to be a must-see event for art and football enthusiasts alike.
