2025's Star-Studded Global Race: Announced Lineup, Destinations, and Latest Updates
The popular BBC1 television show, "Celebrity Race Across the World", is set to return in the autumn of 2025, promising an exciting new season filled with twists and turns.
The new season will take four celebrity duos on a journey from the Caribbean to the Pacific coast of Central America, and eventually to South America. The journey begins off the easternmost point of Mexico on the Caribbean island of Isla Mujeres and concludes in the remote and breathtaking Península de La Guajira in Colombia. Covering a distance of approximately 5,900km, the new season promises to be a thrilling adventure.
Among the participants are familiar faces from the previous season. Dylan Llewellyn, best known for his role in "Beyond Paradise", and his mother, Jackie, will once again take part in the race. The duo ended up coming last in the previous season, but they are back for another chance to win. Another returning duo is broadcaster and writer Anita Rani and her father, Bal. Their entertaining dynamic was a highlight of the previous season, particularly due to Anita's bickering with her husband, Jeremy.
Joining the returning duos are presenter and DJ Tyler West and actor and singer Molly Rainford. The dynamic duo of broadcaster Roman Kemp and his sister, singer-songwriter Harleymoon, will also be part of the show.
Catherine Catton, Head of Commissioning, Factual Entertainment and Events, is looking forward to the new season. She expressed her excitement, saying, "We can't wait for viewers to join our celebrity duos on this incredible journey. With the stunning locations, challenging tasks, and unpredictable twists, this new season promises to be the most exciting yet."
The new season of "Celebrity Race Across the World" will consist of six episodes, released weekly on iPlayer. Fans of the show are eagerly anticipating the return of this exciting adventure, hoping to see the celebrities race across the world once again.
