2025 Yezdi Roadster Debuts with Enhancements, Novel Engine; Set for ₹2.10 Lakh Release

The motorcycling world is abuzz with excitement as Yezdi Motorcycles unveils its latest offering - the 2025 Yezdi Roadster. This new bike is one of several options in the modern-retro segment, competing against the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Harley-Davidson X440, and Honda CB350, among others.

Key Features of the 2025 Yezdi Roadster

The 2025 Yezdi Roadster boasts a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out approximately 28.6 to 29.6 bhp and roughly 29.6 to 30 Nm torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch. It has a dual-cradle frame with telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable twin shocks at the rear, alloy wheels, front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, and an upgraded suspension for improved comfort on Indian roads.

The bike features a digital instrument cluster with USB charging, split seats, a signature twin-barrel exhaust, and a slightly raised seat height of 795mm. It carries a modern-retro design with a teardrop fuel tank and distinctive Farohar insignia, honouring Yezdi’s heritage. The Roadster is offered in two variants (Standard and Premium) and includes a 4-year/50,000 km warranty, extendable to 6 years, plus roadside assistance. Mileage is around 29 kmpl.

Comparison with the Royal Enfield Classic 350

When compared to the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Yezdi Roadster edges out primarily in engine technology with a modern liquid-cooled motor offering higher power and torque, a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch, alloy wheels, and digital instrumentation. It also offers a longer warranty and more touring-friendly updates such as revised suspension tuning. The Classic 350, while a strong retro contender, uses an older air-cooled engine with less power and traditional wire-spoke wheels.

New Features and Colours

The 2025 Yezdi Roadster comes with new colour options, revised indicators, a new LED headlamp and taillight, and improved braking capabilities with disc brakes at both ends.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 Yezdi Roadster is priced at ₹ 2.20 Lakhs (ex-showroom), making it a competitive option in the modern-retro segment. With its blend of classic cruiser styling and modern mechanical and electronic upgrades, the Yezdi Roadster is poised to make a significant impact in the Indian motorcycling market.
