Nepal Cricket Association Unveils 2025 Schedule Packed with International Tours, Domestic Tournaments, and Training Camps

The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced an action-packed schedule for the year 2025, featuring a series of international tours, domestic tournaments, and training camps. Here's a rundown of the key events:

International Tours

  1. Nepal Men’s National Team tour of the United Kingdom from May 16 to May 31, 2025. The tour includes six matches in England and Scotland, including one-day matches against Cardiff University, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), Glamorgan Cricket Club, and Scotland ‘A’, as well as two T20 matches against Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. This tour prepares the team for the upcoming CWC League 2 ODI Championship Tri-series and T20I Tri-series against Scotland and the Netherlands in June 2025.
  2. Nepal will participate in the ICC U 19 Men's World Cup Asia Qualifiers at Mulpani from April 12 to April 28.
  3. The Nepal cricket team will also take part in the Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Thailand, although the exact date remains unspecified.
  4. Nepal's women's team is currently on a tour of Uganda.
  5. The Nepal Men’s National Team will tour the United Kingdom again, with further details to be announced.

Domestic Tournaments

  1. The Nepal T10 tournament is scheduled from May 18 to May 24, 2025, involving 23 matches among various clubs.
  2. The Municipal Corporation Cup - A new tournament featuring six metropolitan teams is scheduled.

  1. The World Cup League 2 series in the UAE is scheduled from October 23 to November 4.
  2. The ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers will be held in Thailand, featuring teams from Bahrain, Bhutan, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Malaysia, Qatar, and UAE.
  3. The 10th National Games (cricket events) will take place.
