2025 Francefest Itinerary, Ticket Information, and Updates: Events, Prices, and Announcements
Title: Let's Get a Taste of France in Düsseldorf's Heart
Consider this: The German-French friendship will be on full display from July 4th to 6th, as Düsseldorf plays host to the 23rd France Festival. This ain't no small shindig, fam; over 120 exhibitors are expected to converge on the city’s old town, bringing a big ol' dose of French flair to the celebration.
Now, you'll befront and center of culinary delights, craft products, music acts, breakdancing, and boules, thanks to this bash. Mark your calendars, 'cause this fest's gonna rock three prime locations: along the Rheinuferpromenade, on the Burgplatz, and in the town hall's courtyard.
Friday, July 4th, at 6 pm, the fest will kick off in the town hall's courtyard. Düsseldorf's Mayor, Stephan Keller, says, "The 23rd France Festival is an opportunity to bring diverse cultures together and strengthen lasting friendships in these challenging times."

At the Rheinuferpromenade, savor regional French specialties at 15 mouthwatering venues. Expect Jura cheese, Brittany butter cookies, Auvergne pastries, and so much more. Cheers to that! Alongside delicious bites, handmade ceramics, stationery, accessories, travel literature, and French cookbooks will be on offer.
Following last year's success, Abdel Chouari, four-time Breakdance World Champion from Toulouse, will team up with German breakdancer Bboy Snow to once again dazzle audiences with their moves. Breakdance workshops, shows, battles, and open jam sessions are on the agenda for dance enthusiasts. Find them grooving on the Radschläger square at the Lower Rhine dock on Saturday, July 5th, from 1 pm, and on Sunday, July 6th, from 2 pm.
A new addition to the festivities: top sport will take center stage on the boule court. Multiple German champions will compete on Friday, with the weekend dedicated to boule for everyone and family-friendly sessions.
If classic cars are your jam, don't miss the "Tour de Düsseldorf," featuring around 130 classic beauties, the largest gathering of exclusively French classics in Germany. This year's tour will take place on July 5th in the left bank surroundings south of Düsseldorf.
Take a load off and groove to the stage program in the inner courtyard of the town hall. This year's acts include singer-songwriter Marie-Flore, Maxence with pop and electronic sounds, Lancelot, Lisa Pariente, Noémie Schröder, and Soline.
