The Danish Golf Championship, previously known as Made in HimmerLand, is set to return to Furesø Golf Club in Copenhagen, Denmark, from August 14 to 17. This prestigious tournament, a key stop on the DP World Tour (European Tour) schedule, will feature a $2.75 million prize purse, with $467,500 going to the winner.

The course, renovated by Scottish architectural firm Mackenzie & Ebert in 2015, will measure out at 7,011 yards and play as a par 71, with four par-3s and three par-5s. The tree-lined course demands accuracy from the players, making it a challenging yet exciting event.

Rasmus Hojgaard and his brother Nicolai are the leading contenders for the championship, according to BetMGM. Rasmus, who became the first Danish winner in 2023, will be looking to defend his title. Other notable Danish contenders include Thomas Bjørn, Lucas Bjerregaard, Jeff Winther, and rising stars like Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and Jacob Skov Olesen.

International players are also expected to make a strong impact. Adrien Saddier, with a recent DP World Tour win and strong stats in putting and driving accuracy, is one to watch. Kristoffer Reitan, known for his good greens in regulation and putting stats, is another potential winner. Other top players in the field include Eugenio Chacarra, Marco Penge (the 2025 winner), and Andy Sullivan, who is known for his accurate iron play and excellent putting.

Jacob Skov Olesen, who led The Open after 18 holes last month, has six top-20s in 15 starts this year, including a T3rd finish last week in Scotland. Oliver Lindell, who finished T2nd at the Danish Golf Challenge on the HotelPlanner Tour last year, has at least half a stroke gained on the field in six of his past seven outings in terms of his approach game.

The Danish Golf Championship will be broadcasted in the UK/BST from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Sky Sports Golf on August 14 and 15, from 11:30am to 4:00pm on August 16, and from 11:00am to 4:00pm on August 17. In the US/ET, the tournament will be aired on the Golf Channel and NBC Sports App from 7:00am to 11:00am on August 14 and 15, and from 6:30am to 11:00am on August 16 and 17.

With its mix of Danish home favorites, international competitors, and a strong prize fund, the Danish Golf Championship is undoubtedly a premier golf event in the region. Previous winners include Frederic Lacroix, Rasmus Hojgaard, Oliver Wilson, and Bernd Wiesberger. The 2025 event promises to be just as exciting, with a $200,000 bonus prize for the tournament winner.

Golf enthusiasts can look forward to the return of the Danish Golf Championship, a key stop on the DP World Tour (European Tour), from August 14 to 17. This prestigious tournament, featuring a $2.75 million prize purse and set at the Furesø Golf Club, will showcase talented golfers like Rasmus Hojgaard and Adrien Saddier, as well as Danish contenders Thomas Bjørn, Lucas Bjerregaard, and emerging stars Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and Jacob Skov Olesen.
