2025 Chicago Air & Water Show Lineup: Performers, Timetable, Prime Viewing Locations, and Additional Information
Get ready for an exciting weekend as Chicago's iconic Air and Water Show is set to take place on Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17. This year marks the 66th edition of the show, promising a thrilling display of aerial acrobatics and aquatic performances.
Prime Viewing Locations
The best spots to catch the action are along the Lake Michigan waterfront, with North Avenue Beach being the prime location near the water. Here, you can find yourself right in the center of the action.
Beaches
North Avenue Beach offers a great sandy spot to bring chairs and blankets for comfortable viewing.
Waterfront Restaurants

Transportation
For anyone taking public transportation, the CTA No. 72 bus will be rerouted and will travel as far east as North Avenue and Clark. On both days, extra bus service will be provided on the No. 72 North Avenue and No. 151 Sheridan bus routes, which operate close to the lakefront.
The CTA Red Line trains from stations at Chicago/State or Clark/Division are within walking distance of Oak Street Beach. Access to pick-up and drop-off will be available at the northbound entrance of the DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
Performances
The US Army Golden Knights parachute team, the Air Force Thunderbirds, and the Maryland Air National Guard A-10s are among the performers at this year's show. The U.S. Coast Guard search and rescue will also perform at the show.
