2 Teen Girls Killed in E-Bike Crash; Driver Flees, Later Arrested
A tragic incident occurred on the 40th block of Burnside Avenue in Cranford, New Jersey, where two teenage girls, Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas, both 17, lost their lives while riding e-bikes. The community is in mourning following the fatal accident, which involved a 2021 black Jeep Compass with tinted windows. The driver fled the scene but was later taken into custody.
The victims, who knew the individual behind the wheel, were rushed to the hospital in critical condition but sadly succumbed to their injuries. Authorities have identified the Jeep Compass as registered to a person linked to the incident, although the specific name has not been disclosed.
