19-Hour Snow and Ice Warning Issued for This Weekend

A 19-hour yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued across parts of the region. The alert, announced by the Ronaldsway Meteorological Office, will remain in place from Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning. The warning begins at 3pm on Saturday, November 29, and lasts until 10am on Sunday, November 30. During this time, snow and ice are likely to form on elevated routes, particularly above 1,200 feet. The warning covers a mix of snow, sleet, and icy patches, with the worst effects expected on higher ground. Travel disruption remains possible, particularly on Sunday morning as temperatures stay low.
