1860s-themed fan world opens at Marienplatz Galeria branch
In a groundbreaking partnership, Galeria and TSV 1860 Munich have opened the doors to the "Löwen-Fanwelt" - a dedicated fan centre for the beloved Munich football club - at Galeria am Marienplatz, Munich. The official launch took place on July 5, 2025, with an enthusiastic crowd gathering to witness the event.
The Löwen-Fanwelt, nestled in the city centre, offers a central hub for TSV 1860 Munich fans to come together and immerse themselves in the club's culture. The fan centre spans an area of 200 sqm and is located in the second basement of the Galeria, accessible via the Rosenstraße entrance.
The grand opening saw the presentation and sales launch of the new away jersey for the Münchner Löwen (Munich Lions). Striker Kevin Volland, a notable player, graced the event with his presence, offering an autograph session to fans, adding a personal touch to the celebration.
This partnership between Galeria and TSV 1860 Munich extends beyond the opening of the Fan World. The collaboration encompasses future initiatives, aiming to deepen fan engagement and bring the TSV 1860 Munich community physically closer to the club.
The Löwen-Fanwelt is adorned with TSV 1860 Munich branding, with the entrance pillars at Kaufingerstraße painted in the club's colours blue-white and bearing the numbers 1860. The store sells a variety of fan articles, including scarves, caps, footballs, and the new dark blue away jersey.
