14-Year-Olds Engage in Police Chase - 14-Year-Olds Lead Police on High-Speed Chase in Germany
Two 14-year-olds from Hildesheim caused a stir when they led police on a high-speed speed test in a car belonging to one of their fathers. The vehicle had previously been involved in another accident.
The chase began when officers tried to stop the car due to its damaged front and broken headlight. The teens, however, refused to comply and sped off, reaching speeds of up to 150 km/h. They disregarded traffic rules, running multiple red lights and driving on the wrong side of the road. The pursuit ended when the car crashed into a traffic island and came to a halt in a field.
Initially, the teens attempted to flee on foot but were quickly apprehended by police. Several investigations have been opened against them, including unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving without a license, hit-and-run, and reckless driving. The fathers of the teens have not been publicly disclosed.
The reckless behavior of the two 14-year-olds resulted in a high-speed tesla and a car crash. They now face multiple charges, and investigations are ongoing.
